Updated: automake1.9-1.9.6-2

Automake is a tool for automatically generating `Makefile.in' files compliant with the GNU Coding Standards. This package contains the latest version of the automake system in the automake-1.9.x series, automake-1.9.6.

This cygwin package, automake1.9, can be installed without conflict alongside the existing automake1.10, automake1.8, automake1.7, automake1.6, automake1.5, and automake1.4 cygwin packages.

automake-1.9 requires autoconf-2.52 or better, which is available in the autoconf2.5 package, autoconf2.5-2.60-1.

See /usr/share/doc/automake1.9/NEWS for a list of the new features and bugfixes in automake-1.9.

This package was built using the cygport framework, but requires a patched cygport. See http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2006-11/msg00137.html
