[1.7] New package: dash-0.5.5.1-1

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

A new package, dash 0.5.5.1-1, is now available for use in cygwin 1.7,
providing users with a chance to test alternate shells.

NEWS:
=====
This is a new package, built out of the box from the latest upstream
version. As a shell, dash is faster than bash in many respects, but it
does have the drawback of lacking LINENO support, which makes it slower
for starting autoconf-generated configure scripts. So for now, there are
no plans of replacing /bin/sh with dash.

See also the upstream documentation in /usr/share/doc/dash/.

DESCRIPTION:
============
DASH is a POSIX-compliant implementation of /bin/sh that aims to be as
small as possible. It does this without sacrificing speed where possible.
In fact, it is significantly faster than bash (the GNU Bourne-Again SHell)
for most tasks.

UPDATE:
=======
To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on the
http://cygwin.com/ web page. This downloads setup.exe to your system.
Save it and run setup, answer the questions and pick up 'dash' from the
'Shells' category. Be sure that you do not have any cygwin programs
running during the upgrade.

DOWNLOAD:
=========
Note that downloads from cygwin.com aren't allowed due to bandwidth
limitations. This means that you will need to find a mirror which has
