I agree with this.  The problem is that there is also a "I just want a free
Windows C compiler" contingent.  In general, those people take a back seat
to what I consider the main thrust of Cygwin but, unfortunately, they do
comprise a significant portion of Red Hat's customers (not that you all have
to worry about that) and they are at least a recognizable percentage of net
users.

Maybe we need an easy to use editor for the non-UNIX people and a standard
vi and emacs offering for the people who are UNIX-aware.

Or, maybe we need to incorporate one of the IDEs for the "Windows C compiler"
people...
