I hope you have an automated way to manage ssh keys. I find, with
Gna/Savannah, that I have to add or change a key every few months, due
to adding or replacing a build/test machine. I expect this to happen
far less often for Cygwin, for various reasons, but even just once a
year per contributor times the number of contributors...it could be a
lot of work for you if it's a manual process.
If contributors get some sort of basic ssh access as well as scp, they
can just manage their own .ssh/authorized_keys file. If not, your
system for accepting packages and setup.hint files should also have a
way to accept new keys.
