  Well, it triggered a setup-2.ini rebuild and that then got the correct
checksum, but the md5.sum file itself didn't get rebuilt, so I put it back
before anything went any more wrong than it already was.  Setup-2.ini then
re-rebuilt itself with the wrong checksum again of course but I was worried I
might trip up the mirror-verification script, which I think tests the presence
of md5.sums.

  Maybe the md5sums are just regenerated on a different (slower?) schedule
than setup.ini, but since I didn't know, I decided not to run any further with
the scissors I was carrying at the time...  I've verified that everything is
now back as it was.
