I saw the discussion about /dev/dsp today.
I never tried dup on it, but I agree that it should work.
Currently, I have no opinion how to fix it, but I will look at the problem.
IMO, Igor's test case (dsp_dup_close.c) should be added to
the test suite, once it works.

Obviously nothing happened so far. I'm going to try to push this
