Nevermind. What a maroon. I had some old .bash_profile stuff sitting
around after testing Jason's bash problems. It was setting my TERM
to linux. Vim didn't like that.
I'm not sure why it failed only when CYGWIN=tty but I don't think that
this is a show stopper for now.
