I hate to say this but it is my Athlon 1.2G motherboard that is giving
me fits.  It has been nothing but trouble since I bought it and it is
running...  Linux.  It's less than a year old.

I spent weeks researching the best components for my dream system and
it has really been a disappointment.  The other major failing component
is one of those IBM Deskstars that were talked about in Slashdot.

Anyway, this is OT.  Just needed to share.
