Our current plan is to re-enable this syntax for a while, to allow
people to migrate to the new syntax, which will be:
/cygdrive/<drive>/...
The "cygdrive" part is customizable via the mount command, so you could
change it to:
/dos/<drive>/...
example:
/dos/c/...
Because the "cygdrive" part may be different on different systems,
it's best not to hard-code it in your programs.
