As far as I am aware, perlcc was not truly enabled until some patches
were added post-version_61. (I'm surprised you're getting any response
at all with verion 5.005_03.) These patches are included in the
perl5.005_61 port on the cygutils website. So try that version;
hopefully it will work (without GDPro). What is GDPro anyway? Is it a
perl module or some separate program?

P.S. If it turns out that you DO need GDPro - of course there's a way
around the version mismatch problem. Rebuild GDPro from source using
your new 5.005_61 perl. :-)
