Mutt w/ sSMTP problem

Anybody out there using Mutt with ``set sendmail = "/bin/ssmtp" '' in
muttrc, with a dial-up connection? I have /etc/ssmtp/ssmtp.conf set up

/etc, but no joy. Is my /etc/muttrc "set sendmail" line (above) correct?
I've tried asking this on mutt-users, but nobody seems to be doing
cygwin/mutt there. Tia...
