This list expects you to go back through the mailing list archives, and
check the mirror sites for recent snapshots.  I'm too lazy to understand
all the aspects of it, which is why I refer you to the archives, but I
have been satisfied with use of recent binary snapshots of cygwin1.dll
as the solution to my problems with the 1.1.6 and 1.1.8 versions.
