Christopher,

"terminal Services (telnet, not web admin)" leads me to believe that you
are using the Telnet Server, not Terminal Services.  Terminal Services
is a GUI remote control of Win2k Servers, WinNT4 Terminal Servers or
Windows XP Machines.  I've seen the errors you're talking about with the
Windows Telnet Server.  If your program's working, ignore it.

1) I get this message whenever I run an app that is compiled against
cygwin,
like ls, gcc, which, etc.
2) On W2k through terminal services(telnet, not web admin).  I'm not
sure what
application/remote admin mode means.
