./configure 15.81s user 15.41s system 102% cpu 30.329 total
linux-2.2.21pre2, celeron-1000, old 9GB 7200 scsi
./configure 1.37s user 0.81s system 18% cpu 11.776 total
linux-2.4.13ac2, P3-600, 18GB 10k scsi
./configure 2.28s user 0.90s system 56% cpu 5.656 total
I believe XP is much better than 98 with cygwin?
