Hi Chris,

As far as the Java section is concerned, I have some experience in the matter
and would be happy to share it (i.e. I already have from time to time on this
list) - the only caveat is that I'm going on vacation for a week - but I'd
be happy to write some docu after that (if no-one beats me to it, of course).
