Printing graphics from cygwin - using a "HP" winprinter.

In hope that this is helpful for others... (hereby put in the archives)

Reference:
 http://www.cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2003-07/msg01691.html
 http://netpbm.sourceforge.net/doc/

quote from the latter:
"
pnm2ppa converts to HP's "Winprinter" format (for HP 710, 720, 820, 1000,
etc). It is a superset of Netpbm's pbmtoppa and handles, notably, color.
However, it is more of a printer driver than a Netpbm-style primitive
graphics building block. See http://sourceforge.net/project/?group_id=1322.
"

I have yet to read about and try it, but the last sentence indicates
promising possiblities to me.
