I use it every day. A small gentoo distro with all necessary tools.
It can even copy the image to a remote backupserver running a special
daemon. ~8 min for a 1GB root partition backup. Doesn't copy unused
parts at the end of the disk. Can do bzip2, can read VFAT, FAT32 and NTFS.
Would be cool if this worked "right" and would be open-software's
answer to the 60-70$ "disk image" program by "Overpriced SW Inc.".
As Brian said, some files are blocked by the OS.
