Obviously, this patch can't go back to the "real" libtool because it turns off relinking for all platforms, not just cygwin. I'm testing something related in the libtool-2.0pre baseline...stay tuned.


I recall this came up earlier but I can't find it in the archives. What was my objection back then? I'm sure someone objected, because otherwise it would have gone in; and I'm sure it was me, because nobody else cares about the libtool internals. :-)
