The "whatever it is" was the hang described in my previous message
with the same subject
(http://sources.redhat.com/ml/cygwin/2004-12/msg00860.html). Sorry
about not getting the threading right or saying more in the message
that confused you.
It is no longer hanging with the 20041227 snapshot; thanks.
