Same files:

$ md5sum prof_383.zip
ed1b2d83d65f187cc780725313cdac92 *prof_383.zip

$ md5sum /c/tmp/prof_383.zip

But your problem sounds more like one of DOS type mount, or something
(bash/tcsh/etc.) mangling the file -- as in stripping \r from binary files.
