All your links have been incorrectly created or you're not using Cygwin's "ls". They should show up as links. For example, 'ls -l cc1' should result in:

lrwxr-xr--+ 1 Tom Users 547 Jan 6 20:44 cc1 -> ../../i686-pc-cygwin/3.4.4/cc1

If the problem is the links, you can remove them and recreate them manually
if you'd rather not re-install. If the problem is you're using the wrong
'ls', get it and any other look-alike utilities out of your path and make
sure Cygwin's are in your path. That should help.
