Have you tried 'stat ../../../testseq/yuv420/COASTGUARD-YUV420-CIF
/testseq/yuv420/COASTGUARD-YUV420-CIF' to prove to yourself that they are
the same file? If that also sees the difference, then you can resort to
strace to see what is actually being attempted in the two cases; if it
does not see any difference, then I would suspect a bug in x264.
