- Subject: ls not working on cygwin install on XP
I installed using setup.exe and installed numerous additional packages
in the hopes of getting ls on Windows XP.
After double clicking on the Cygwin Icon, pwd works but ls does not.
I expected ls to work as it is the most basic command available.
When I run cygcheck or uname I get the following:
bash-3.2$ cygcheck
bash: cygcheck: command not found
bash: uname: command not found
