It may have full access rights but the directory tree may not have the correct permission modes. Try doing a "chmod 755 -R <ftp_directory>" on the ftp directory tree.


If that does not work, try running proftpd as power user. Try looking at /usr/share/doc/proftpd-<version>/ for additional documentation, or scourge the web, on how to run proftpd as power user.

If none of these suggestions still work, kindly provide more details such as logs from window's event manager.
