Problem running wget

Wget won´t output anything on the screen.

bash-3.2$ pwd
/
bash-3.2$ cd bin
bash-3.2$ ./wget
bash-3.2$ cd /usr/bin
bash-3.2$ ./wget
bash-3.2$

Any sugestions ?
