I've been experimenting with this patch (among others) in Cygwin Ports:
http://cygwin-ports.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/cygwin-ports/ports/trunk/devel/cmake/2.6-cygwin.patch
That would also fix the wxWidgets detection.
