[ANNOUNCEMENT] Updated: zlib-1.2.3-3; New: {zlib0/zlib-devel}-1.2.3-3

The zlib package has been updated to version 1.2.3-3. zlib is a standard lossless compression library. This is a packaging update.

[[ compiled using gcc-3.4.4-3 ]]

This will most likely be the final zlib update for the cygwin-1.5 distribution; future development will continue with zlib-1.2.3-10 for cygwin-1.7.

CHANGES since 1.2.3-2
========================
o Split into separate packages. This is in preparation for the
  expected DLL version bump when this package is rebuilt (on
  cygwin-1.7 only) using gcc-4.x.  However, this cygwin-1.5-only
  package was also split, to maintain symmetry between both
  distributions.
