Re: Question on Java and Cygwin
Am trying to use Java file.io without shelling out all the time. To use
cygpath you basically have to spawn shells to do any IO commands, which is
not a best practice.

I'm not sure about this, but I think you're having problems handing
filesystem paths between Cygwin and Java processes. If that's the case,
you should use the cygpath tool included with Cygwin to convert paths
back and forth as necessary.
