I'm, also getting this error. See bottom of my comments...perhaps a cygwin vs 
Windows path problem.

Target server of ssh or scp or sftp:
Info - Windoze 2003 sp2

This is from an HP-UX sever or my pc running cygwin to the Windoze 2003 host.
