With the latest snapshot (2012-08-07), pinging a dead machine (i.e. has a DNS
entry but doesn't answer) from tcsh in mintty, I can't Ctrl-C ping and have to
wait until it finally times out.

#  ping deadbeef

2 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100.0% packet loss
