Thanks, Yaakov.  I don't see that package.  In 64-bit setup, I found:

cygwin64-crypt
cygwin64-libgcrypt
libgcrypt-devel
libmcrypt-devel

Which of these packages most closely matchese libcrypt-devel?

None of the above; libcrypt-devel is the package you need, and it is inthe x86_64 distro.
